Carpenter’s Room
Every element in this room tells a true story. The reclaimed materials were not chosen as a trend, but out of affection. The old family barrels that once held wine on winter nights now live a second life as furniture details and surfaces.
The headboard is a unique piece: an ancient door from the family wine press, where must flowed between the stones and voices were those of people working together, with their hands and hearts.
No screens, no distractions. Only quiet, living materials and the breath of Mount Etna outside the window.
Warm and authentic atmosphere
The Carpenter’s Room is characterised by a warm, authentic atmosphere. The headboard, made from an old door from the family wine press, bears the marks of time and Etna’s wine-making tradition. The furnishings, which are also unique, have been made from recycled materials, including parts of old barrels that once contained the family’s wine.
In the bathroom, there is a surprising detail: a historic Singer sewing machine, creatively transformed into a functional piece of furniture, reflecting the care, memory and artisan spirit that make this room truly special.
